Student Locker Rentals


The Student Association has locker rentals available for all SLC Kingston students. Locker rentals are available for either one- two semesters, or the summer months. There are groups of lockers located throughout the college in targeted areas that are available for students to rent near their classes to use to store their books and personal items. If you need a locker, come to the Student Association Front Desk on the second floor, locker as rentals are available year-round. Student Friendly Prices

One Semester: $40 (+$10 deposit)
Two Semesters: $75 (+$10 deposit)
Apprentice: $25 (+$10 deposit)
365 Days: $120 (+10 deposit)

Important Notes

How to rent a locker process:

  1. We suggest reviewing your timetable to determine your classroom locations and locker area preferred

  2. Come to campus and visit the SA Front Desk on the 2nd Floor of the Main/Academic Building

  3. Select a specific area of lockers preferred (typically near most of your classes or the front entrance) and let the Front Desk staff know the area you are requesting.

  4. Go through the rental agreement process and pay for the locker rental. The Front Desk staff will walk you through this process

  5. You will receive a copy of your contract with your personal information, along with your locker number and combination listed on it for your records.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED A LOCKER?
The SA makes lockers available to students to facilitate the daily storage of their learning materials and items related to their studies. The SA manages lockers to ensure responsible use of property and for the health and safety of individuals.

The rental of a locker constitutes an agreement, on the part on the occupant, to abide by and follow the regulations as enforced by The Student Association of St. Lawrence College- Kingston Campus.

If you are not permitted to bring your personal belongings into your classroom or lab, we suggest renting a locker for the term to securely store your items. Students with large supplies or program kits may also find having a locker helpful while being on site.

HOW DO I KNOW WHICH LOCKER TO SELECT?
We suggest reviewing your class schedule to determine your classroom locations. Lockers are organized by building, floor and wing.

WHERE CAN I GET A LOCK?
There will already be a lock placed on the locker you rent. Upon payment and completing the rental agreement the combination will be provided to you.

HOW BIG ARE THE LOCKERS?
Locker size varies from area to area. The most common locker size is a half locker (top or bottom), however; there are full sized lockers available to rent in the Tech/ Blue Wing and on the fourth floor.

HOW DO I RETURN MY LOCK TO RECEIVE MY $10 DEPOSIT BACK?
When you are finished using the locker or your rental term expires, clean your items from your locker and bring the lock back to the Student Association front desk to receive your $10 deposit back via debit.
